Anthony and Amanda met over eight years ago at the Best Buy in Lakewood, CA, during the summer of 2016. At the time, the Best Buy Mobile store where Amanda worked was closing, so she transferred to the Lakewood location, and that’s where she met Anthony.

Anthony, knowing Amanda had a boyfriend, was too shy to talk to her, so they never spoke, even though they worked in the same department. However, they would often catch each other’s eyes and silently wonder what could be.

Eventually, Amanda broke up with her boyfriend and relied on a mutual co-worker and friend to try to set her up with Anthony. But by then, Anthony had announced to the department that he was moving back to Arizona to return to college. Amanda was heartbroken because the timing wasn’t right, but she knew Anthony was someone special.

After Anthony moved, he finally built up the courage and started messaging Amanda, hoping they might see each other one day. Since Anthony wasn’t planning to come back home until the holidays, Amanda ignored her parents' advice on not chasing a man and decided to visit him in Arizona. (Hehe >,<) Luckily, a friend who had worked with her at Best Buy in Downey now lived there, so she stayed with her and met up with Anthony for a couple of days to see where things could go.

Anthony ended up moving back before the holidays, and they’ve been together ever since. 💖
